Nick Richmond
Treatments: McTimoney chiropractic, Diversified chiropractic, sports therapy and massage.
Nick Richmond has practised as a chiropractor in Andover for 24 years. He set up the Chiros Health Clinic in 2003 to realise his vision that chiropractors, physiotherapists and other alternative therapists could work together in patient focused co-operation when treating musculo-skeletal injuries.
Over the years Nick has undergone further training and is qualified in Diversified chiropractic techniques, paediatrics, and cranial techniques enabling him to offer treatment to babies and toddlers.
As a result of an accident at work, while in the Royal Air Force, Nick badly damaged his lower back which led to debilitating backache and sciatica that lasted for over four years. He tried numerous forms of therapy but it was only McTimoney Chiropractic that proved to be successful. Nick was so impressed that he decided to make a complete career change and undertook the four year McTimoney training course. The course contents closely mirror the medical teaching undertaken by other health care professionals such as physiotherapists.
Nick believed that other techniques such as massage, reflexology and sports therapy would compliment McTimoney chiropractic skills and is qualified to offer all of these. Nick is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors.
