Julia graduated from the University of Southampton. Before retraining as a podiatrist Julia was a secondary school science teacher. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the College of Podiatry and sits on the committee of the Hampshire branch.
Julia has gained a varied experience having worked in a number of clinics across Dorset and Hampshire. This includes diabetic foot care, biomechanics, treatment of ingrowing toenails, toenail surgery, treatment of verrucae and fungal nail infections. She also provides cosmetic treatments including toenail reconstruction and warm wax therapy.
Patient education and advice on care and prevention are a core part of her ethos. With a passion for life-long learning, Julia regularly undertakes continuing professional development to consolidate and further her skills and knowledge.
In her spare time she enjoys gardening, fitness classes and outdoor swimming in the summer months in lakes and in the sea.
