Chiros Health Clinic offers McTimoney Chiropractic (Chiropractor), Nutrition, Massage and Sports Therapy – and other therapies. Our chiropractors and other therapists can treat a wide range of conditions and ailments. We work together to combine our specialist skills to maximise your treatment, accelerate your recovery, and improve your overall health and well-being.

clinic-in-sun-011Chiros Health Clinic is housed in a beautiful 18th-century, Georgian building on Church Close in the market town of Andover in Hampshire. Chiros Health Clinic is large, light and spacious, with comfortable, warm and welcoming treatment rooms.

The main focus of Chiros Health Clinic is the treatment of a wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions and physical injuries. This may involve treatment with one or more of the following techniques:

The Chiros Health Clinic Privacy Statement

When you supply your personal details to this clinic the are stored and processed for 4 reasons

1.We need to collect personal information about your health in order to provide you with the best possible treatment. Your request for treatment and our agreement to provide that care constitutes a “contract”

2. We have a “legitimate interest” in collecting that information, because without it we could not doe our job safely and effectively.

3.We also think that it is important that we can contact you to confirm your appointments with us or to update you specifically on matters relating to you medical care. This again constites “legitimate interest”, but this time it is your legitimate interest.

4.Provided we have your “consent”, we may occasionally send you general health information in the form of articles, advice, and newsletters. You may withdraw your consent at any time- just let us know by any convenient method.

Your medical records

We have a “legal obligation” to retain your records for 8 years after your most recent appointment ( or until you are aged 25, if this is longer), but after this period you can ask us to delete your records if you wish. Otherwise, we will retain your records indefinitely in order that we can provide you with the best possible care should you need to see us at some point in the future.

Your records are stored in several ways:

On paper , in locked filing cabinets within a locked secure room.The offices are alarmed and always locked out of hours.

Electronically, ” cloud”, Cliniko our practice management software runs completely under https. This means the data is encrypted during transfer.

Office computers, These are password protected, regularly backed up, offices are alarmed and locked outside of working hours.

Who has access to your data

We will never share you data with anyone who does not need access without your written consent.Only the following people/agencies will have routine access to your data:

Your practitioner(s) in order that they can provide you with treatment.

Our reception staff, because they organise the practitioner’s diaries, and coordinate appointment and reminders.

From time to time, we may have to employ consultants to perform tasks which might give them access to your personal data (but not your medical records). We will ensure that they are fully aware that they must treat that information as confidential, and we will ensure that they sign a non disclosure agreement.

You have the right what personal data of yours we hold, and you can also ask us to correct any factual areas. Provided the legal minimum period has expired you can also ask us to erase your records.

We want you to be absolutely confident that we are treating your personal data responsibly, and that we are doing everything we can to make sure that the only people who can access that data have a genuine reason to do so. If you feel that your data has not been handled in the correct way, you have the right to complain, complaints need to be sent to the address below:
